“Eyedentity”

Solo Show

Feb 09 2024 - Mar 31 2024

"Eyedentity" spotlights Florida artist Tasanee Durrett's soul-stirring artwork painted in vibrant dotwork and continuous line techniques. Curated by Amber Steele of SteeleHaus, this exhibition transports viewers on an inward journey celebrating the diversity of healing narratives. Each piece captures both the joyful and painful complexities of untangling one's roots across the African diaspora to arrive at a more holistic sense of self and community.  Centered on themes of resilience, spiritual tradition, and collective consciousness, Durrett's compositions portray an otherworldly beauty while retaining raw emotional resonance.
