Roots in Action is an exploration of nourishment, resilience, and interconnectedness. The piece celebrates the abundance that flourishes when communities have equitable access to food. Each element symbolizes the hands, histories, and ecosystems that sustain us by reminding all of us that food is more than sustenance, it’s a form of justice and belonging. In a time when access is increasingly limited. Roots in Action calls for collective care and rooted solutions that feed both body and spirit.
