This work holds the tension between burden and support  by questioning where one ends and the other begins. As a Black woman born and living on American soil, I feel this every day. We're all tethered to emotional weight, ancestral presence, and inner truth. By embracing all of it, we become held by what is carried as much as it is held by itself.
