Limited jersey design for the FIFA 2026 games.
A BEAUTIFUL GAME
This jersey is a love letter to Ghana and to every Black woman who has ever moved through the world like she was built for something bigger than the room she was standing in.
On the front: a Black woman heading the ball with her locs fanning out around her like a web, , like roots. She isn’t watching the game. She is the game. Her locs are symbolic of Anansi, the spider trickster of tribal Akan tradition. anansi is the one who outsmarted gods and kings and carried the stories of West Africa across the Middle Passage. Wherever Black people went, Anansi followed. He lives in her because he has always lived in our stories.
On the back: Anansi the spider appears again in full body, ceremonial, watching. Number 8 for his eight legs. One star for the Black Stars of Ghana. The name on the back is not a player. It is a spirit.
The colors are Ghana's: red for the blood of those who died for independence, gold for the mineral wealth of the land, green for the forests and fields, black for the people. This is not a neutral jersey. It knows where it comes from.
Football has always been more than a game in West Africa and has become ceremony, community, pride. "A Beautiful Game" asks: what if the jersey itself carried that history? What if you could wear the story?
This one is for Ghana. For the Black Stars. For Anansi. For her!
